The use of bimetal in the coal industry

Ukraine is rich in coal mines, where work is always in full swing. For our customers, we have manufactured such funnels using our SWIP bimetal sheets.

The funnels are located under the coal tanks and through this point coal is being unloaded into the railway wagons via conveyor belts. Ordinary metal under such conditions was subjected to severe abrasive wear, which entailed the constant need for stoppages and repair.

Thanks to our technical solution, we were able to help the client and increase the service life of this unit by 2.5 - 3 times. This is very important for the stable operation of the entire technological cycle of the coal mines.
